Inconel 600 applications include furnace retort seals, fixtures and fans, roller hearths in carbon nitriding processes, radiant tubes, reactor vessels, heat exchanger tubes and other components in vinyl chloride production and in thermocouple sheaths and others. Inconel 600 is a chromium nickel superalloy that contains carbon, manganese, chromium, silicon, sulfur and iron in its composition. It is a strong and hard alloy that is resistant to most acidic conditions and has very high temperature and pressure resistance. The material is nonmagnetic and could be welded upon.
