Butt Weld Pipe Fitting

A Butt Weld Pipe Fitting is a weldable pipe fitting that allows for change of direction of flow, to branch off, reduce pipe size or attach auxiliary equipment. The joint is formed simply by placing two pieces of metal end-to-end and then welding along the join. Butt welding is achieved by heating up two pieces of metal, applying pressure or through doing both. Butt weld stainless steel and carbon steel fittings are an important part of industrial piping system to change direction.
